On March 5, the Second Session of the Fourteenth National People's Congress opened. On that afternoon, General Secretary of the Communist Party of China, President of the People's Republic of China, and Chairman of the Central Military Commission Xi Jinping joined the delegation from Jiangsu Province to participate in deliberations, emphasizing the need to firmly grasp the primary task of high-quality development and develop New Productive Forces according to local conditions.

He stated that General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out in his speech that "Jiangsu has good conditions and capabilities for developing New Productive Forces," which gives us greater confidence and motivation.
